With the scarce variety of diets manufactured in Europe to cover the nutritional needs of our geckos, and with the problem that Covid posed to obtain conventional brands, at the beginning of 2020 we began to develop our own diets to be able to help all professionals and amateurs of the sector in Europe.

But this was not enough. We needed more. That is why we made the decision to manufacture the most natural food on the market for frugivorous geckos such as Rhacodactylus, Correlophus or Phelsuma.

After 3 years of development, tests and analysis, Rhacofood is the result: completely natural diets, with a very high nutritional value, a taste that geckos love and short delivery times for all of Europe.

Our gecko diets are carefully crafted with a combination of fruits that your geckos won't be able to resist. It has been formulated using only the highest quality ingredients, including natural fruits, insect protein, whey protein isolate, bee pollen, algae and more.

Rhacofood diets have a high calcium content with a special calcium-phosphorus ratio. A sufficient supply of calcium and phosphorus is especially important during growth for the development of a strong skeleton as well as for the development of eggs in pregnant females.

The ingredients have been selected to contain very low levels of anti-nutrients such as oxalates. We do not use seeds, nuts, seed meal, cereal grains, or high-oxalate fruits or vegetables in our mixes.
